Autumn in West Japan
" The mellow, messy, leaf-kicking, perfect pause between the opposing miseries of summer and winter. "
Autumn has always been my favourite season. Not just because of the crunchy cascade of leaves, in warm shades of red, orange, and yellow strewn across footpaths. It's also the perfect season to layer up, perfect weather not too chilly and not too warm. Furthermore, Fall is the perfect season for outdoor adventures, recognizing the details that tend to go overlooked amidst the daily hustle.
In this trip to Osaka, I covered mainly Osaka, Kyoto, Shirakawa and Naoshima and a few other locations. Autumn hues started to show in the region and I'm so glad I managed to witness the colours of the season just as it draws to an end.
Really enjoyed looking back on this trip while editing the images, from the little strolls in the park to the beautiful locations away from the bustling city.
